Artist's Profile: An Introduction
From very early on it only seemed right to interpret the world
around me in painting and drawing. The southern African
landscape of my youth with its abundant wildlife and varied
geographies (natural and otherwise) offered a rich palette for a
young mind to work with.
Since then I have come a rather circuitous route to the rural
landscapes of the Ottawa Valley and west Quebec, Canada.
Here I find imagery to combine with the ghosts of my memory and
the spirit of my imagination. Here I have my studios, Underground
IMPRESSIONS Souterraines (at home and the Shawville Annex).
